Auburn University

I began my time at Auburn University as a transfer student in January 2014. I am scheduled to graduate in August 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in public relations.

Dean's List

Youth With a Mission (YWAM)

I graduated from YWAM's Snowboarders Discipleship Training School (DTS) in November 2013. During my time with YWAM I lived in New Zealand, China and Japan where I completed service projects for hosts in each country.

The University of Alabama

I attended the University of Alabama from fall 2009 to May 2013. During my time at the university, I studied biology and business before declaring a major in public relations.



Journalism Fundamentals

This course maintains a strong focus on the Associated Press Stylebook, word usage and spelling. Students must score an 85 or higher on each exam to pass the course.

Foundations of Public Relations

This introductory course looks at the history and principles of public relations.

Survey Research Methods

This course focuses on methods of gathering and analyzing data using services like Qualtrics, SPSS and Google analytics.

Writing for Public Relations

Students learn to write different pieces that are necessary for success in public relations. News releases, media kits and pitches are examples of work completed in this course.

Case Studies and Ethics in Public Relations

An in depth analysis of real-world cases involving ethical theories in public relations.

Style and Design in Public Relations

This course combines writing for outside publications, journalistic styling and graphic and web design. Students learn how to read and write html and css code.

Campaigns in Public Relations

Students are assigned a local client for whom they create a full public relations campaign utilizing research, planning, implementation and evaluation.
